Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to walk around the stone yard?
Yes. Our yard is organized and designed for customers to browse materials safely, much like walking through a well-marked outdoor space.
Do I need special safety gear to visit the yard?
No special safety gear is required for browsing. We do recommend wearing closed-toe shoes for comfort and protection while walking on stone surfaces.
Can I walk anywhere in the yard, or are there restricted areas?
Most areas are open for browsing, but some sections may be limited for safety or operational reasons. Please follow posted signs and team guidance.
Is the yard dusty or difficult to walk through?
Our yard is maintained and organized to allow for easy browsing. While it is an outdoor stone yard, we make every effort to keep walkways clear and accessible.
Will equipment be moving while I’m browsing?
Yes, forklifts and loaders may be operating throughout the yard. Our team is trained to work safely around customers, and we ask visitors to stay aware of their surroundings.
Do you help load materials, or do I need to load everything myself?
We have top-notch equipment and trained operators to assist with loading. In many cases, our team will load materials for you.
Can I bring children or pets into the yard?
Children are welcome but should remain with an adult at all times. Pets are welcome as well, but we ask that they remain leashed so they can be kept safe, as our yard is located along a freeway frontage with an active access road.
Can I move stone or materials myself while browsing?
We ask that customers do not move large or heavy materials on their own. Our team is happy to assist if you’d like to see or select specific pieces.
Is it okay to take my time while browsing materials?
Absolutely. We encourage customers to take their time, explore options, and ask questions while selecting materials.
Who should I ask for help if I’m unsure about safety or where to go?
Any Whiz-Q team member is happy to help. Just ask, and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable and pointed in the right direction.
